Six years ago, Adventure Rider Radio followed Jeremy Kroeker and Elle West as they rode south from Canada toward the bottom of South America in a series called Southward Chronicles.

Now they’re setting out again.
This time, Jeremy and Elle are heading to Africa, travelling south by motorcycle with a long road ahead of them and no way of knowing exactly how the journey will unfold.
You might think that after everything they’ve already done, setting off on another long motorcycle trip would somehow be easier. Instead, Jeremy and Elle are starting this one feeling underprepared, underfunded and unsure of what lies ahead. They know more now. They’ve travelled more, seen more and learned a lot about what can go wrong. And somehow, all that experience has made leaving feel more daunting than ever.
In this first episode, they’re still at home in Canmore, Alberta, on their final night before departure. After years of thinking, saving and preparing, the time to actually leave has arrived.
Where it goes from there, we’ll find out with them.
