I wanted to write and say thank you for all the hard work you put into the informative and entertaining podcast. I’ve learned a ton from you and your contributors and maybe more importantly the show has been a huge inspiration. This past year my life long best friend and I, who now live in different parts of the country, took off on our very own adventure. We slowly planned for about a year for our trip across the states on the Trans-America Trail. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take off enough time to do it all at once so we’ve been doing it in stages. So far we’ve made it from Harrisburg PA to Colorado Springs CO where we’ve parked the bikes for the winter. Needless to say it has been amazing and I’m certain many more adventures will follow. If you’d like you can take a look and read about our journey at MojoMoto.org.
Again, thank you so much. Keep up the great work.
Cheers

Hi Jim:
Catching up on the last few episodes of ARR. I’m hoping you are going to do an episode on how you modified your toy hauler for touring with a motorbike. I’m thinking about doing exactly that!
Just loving your show, your skills are superb! I am always impressed with how professionally your show is produced.
My wife and I are getting ready for our trip to OZ, which will include a 11 day motorcycle portion (as well as a stop at the MotoGP :) )
I’m listening to your interview of Jacqui Kennedy and it’s awesome!
...
Again, just loving your show and really look forward to each instalment. All the best to you and the “fam” and I hope you are having a great time! I hope someday to meet up in person since you are so close by!
Cheers

Hi there,
Many thanks for your shows. It’s my #1 favorite podcast and I listen to each as soon as I can.
— Will Bishop

Hello, just thought I would send a quick note to say how much I am enjoying the podcasts! I really enjoyed the show about two-up riding as my wife and I have made this a bit of a “thing”. We have gone to a lot of places but she really enjoys getting off road on my KLR! It really adds immensely to the trip being able to share it with someone. Last summer we did the Dempster Highway to Inuvik (in the rain) and it was really wonderful to be able to share that experience. In between showers we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery ever. Next year is Australia’s east coast, and you can bet I will be listening to ARR on the plane! Take care, I will keep checking the site from time to time.
Cheers

Just wanted to drop a line and say how much I appreciate the podcast on iTunes. Absolutely inspirational and fantastic interviews. Breaks up the monotony of my current work schedule with some adventuring many of us are longing to get out and do. My wife and I are currently busy with work and leading our student ministry at our church which we definitely love, but when time permits perhaps we will take a similar adventure perhaps not in the same duration but similar to ones I’ve so enjoyed listening about. Thanks for all you guys do and keep up the hard work! Look forward to catching up on the rest of your podcasts.

Hi Jim
First to say really enjoy your show, not missed an episode yet, a great idea to have it on the podcast, as you can listen when it suits you. Keep up the good work.

Another great show Jim, really enjoyed this last one with Shirley and Brian Rix as it stuck a cord with us. We do most of our rides two up so it was interesting to hear someone else’s take on it, my wife takes loads of photo’s from the back of the bike and does most of the navigating, its a team work thing. She can’t ride and even though i’ve offered to pay for her to take her test she’s happier the two of us on one bike. One thing this couple said about sharing the experience and talking about it later in an evening is how we see it, on the one bike together we share exactly the same experience whether good or bad. If you do ride two up, its worth making sure your partner knows what all the keys and switches are for, especially the kill switch in case you can’t.

— Thanks again and keep 'em coming :) Andrija
Hi Jim,
Love the show, but then don’t we all say that?
— Alex
I’m addicted to listening to your podcasts! I’ve downloaded all the past podcasts and am binge listening to them. My favorite part is that they make me think about what’s important to me in life as opposed to what “should” be important to me. Hearing different people’s travel stories have help me envision what our long-term travel story will look like and (the really important thing!) has inspired us to take action. Many thanks!

Hi Jim, I just wanted to drop a line to say that I think the radio shows are just brilliant. The quests and topics are packed full of tips and help and great stories with loads of different viewpoints it’s really inspiring stuff. And best of all its a regular fix something to look forward to each week. My big adventure is a way in the future at the moment, but it’s definitely gonna happen. This last week I have been on the road a little bit for work and it’s been great catching up on shows I’ve missed or just listening again to some while I’m travelling between jobs. Although it makes me want to be on the bike and not in the van.
So thank you for all your hard work and effort I for one really appreciate it.
And as you say Jim, ride safe!
— Chris, Leeds, UK

Hi. I just came across your show through a quick search on my iPhone. I’m a woodworker and spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with my headphones in. In two and a half weeks I hope to be riding from Connecticut to Guatemala on a 450cc KTM. I’ll spend 5 months in Guatemala and then ride over to Honduras to visit the schools I was teaching in from 2012-2014.

from Travis on Nathan and Dorothy’s Postie Bike Adventure and Three Day Planning:
Nathan’s story is great! It epitomizes the adage “Ride Your Own Ride”. He shows that you don’t need to massive BMW GSA in order to embark on a fantastic journey. Great read and highly recommended! I need to read the next one now.

I just discovered your podcast in time to hear the 2014 wrap-up. I’ve listened to a couple of shows and they are, in a word, AWESOME! Definitely a great find for me! Very professional sounding, the production values are really good.

Keep up the good work! Love the show so far!

A little constructive criticism, if I may?... Those of us who listen to the podcast in our helmets and cars would appreciate if you didn’t start an episode with a thunderclap. Thanks

Only found this a few weeks ago, been listening to the podcasts on my pc while at work when the bbc world service get to depressing..just what the doc ordered for a dull grey North sea January day, well presented and great guests.

Just finished listening to your New Year’s edition. It’s not often that I can keep my attention on a two hour radio broadcast, but you pulled it off. I’m especially glad to see the ‘smile’ that comes through Jim’s voice.

Well done. Bravo. Encore!

Jim,
My riding buddies in Northern California love the show! We rode up to Deadhorse this past July and I just got back from a Baja trip during Christmas. Everything about the show is fantastic. The interviews really inspire me. I’m hoping to take off on a year long South America trip in 18-24 months. Cheers! Drew

Hey Jim, great show. I’m catching up from Ep 1 and enjoying them all. I love the common message from Rene, Grant and ? , memory fails me on the last one, where they stress that the bike and gear are of secondary importance and the key is just to get out there and ride.
I’m also pleased to see that the show originates in Canada!
