Pitch Us
Do you have a great story or know of someone who does? Perhaps you have an idea or a topic suggestion? We want to hear all about it!
How to Make Your Story or Idea Stand out in a crowd
The big question is, how do you grab our attention in just one or two paragraphs? It may be small, but it has an important place in your pitch: the SUBJECT line. As we scroll through our emails in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand, the best way you can catch our attention is with the Subject line. We love creative subject lines like ‘A Tiger Ate My Motorcycle in India’. Okay, it’s a little out there, but we will definitely want to know more!
Who Are you pitching?
Don’t be bashful. We love first-person narratives just as much as the next guy. So if it’s about yourself, get those fingers typing and tell us all about it! And if it’s about someone else, give them all you’ve got!
Stories, Topics or ideas
Sometimes we only have a few minutes to look over a pitch and make a decision on whether or not to follow it up. Unique, original and not widely-known stories are some of our favourites! Taking the time to write some interesting points helps us to understand your story, topic or idea. Here’s your chance to write a paragraph or two, focusing on key elements such as: who, what happened, what challenges were faced, what you hoped to achieve, how you dealt with the situation, etc. Perhaps you’re an expert in a specific motorcycle-related industry or field, what are some things you can talk about and share with our listeners? Or do you have an idea for a show, someone or something you’d like to hear more about - let us know!
Links
Don’t forget to include links to where we can find out more about you. If you have information on someone else you’re pitching, please point us in the right direction.
Sending Us Books or Documentaries
If you have a book or documentary you’d like to share with us, please let us know and we will send you our mailing address.
