Woodrow “Pack” Landfair wasn't a motorcyclist looking for an adventure. He had an idea about how he wanted to live. Inspired by the wandering storytellers he admired and Robert Pirsig's *Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance*, he bought a motorcycle, got his licence, and set out across America to experience lives very different from his own.
It was a romantic idea: moving from place to place, finding work along the way, meeting people, and discovering how others lived. But imagining a life and actually living it are two very different things. What happens when you decide to find out for yourself?
