Austin Vince is a former British school teacher, and after some years of teaching he and some friends did an epic motorcycle trip that culminated in the TV documentary Mondo Enduro. He returned to teaching, as well as following his passion for motorcycle riding and trips, and has since documented more of his trips in the the films called Mondo Enduro and Terra Circa. Austin is now retired from teaching, and lives on his boat in England with his wife Lois Pryce, another passionate motorcyclist and author. He has spent the last 10 years putting full time hours in to promoting and encouraging motorcyclists to go on budget friendly ‘DIY’ travel adventures. Amongst all their other ventures including the Adventure Travel Film Festival, Austin and Lois also run a couple of navigation and riding events in the Pyrenees. The Pyrenees are a mountain range that form a natural border between Spain and France in southwest Europe. The area has a reputation for having some of the best motorcycle riding in the world, so who better to turn to than Austin Vince to find out just what makes it so special.
