RAW LISTENER QUESTIONS: Have a question for the RAW panel? Send it to us here.

Everyone’s had those days on a trip, where you find yourself stranded somewhere - maybe due to a breakdown or a mishap - some places you couldn’t wait to get out of and some you might have wanted to stay a few days extra. And something that might come in handy when you’re stuck in those places is some local slang. And then once you head out on the road again using some of that local jargon, you just might find that you’ve had the best days ever and want to ride forever.

Listener Questions:

James Gale - There must be a large number of travellers stuck in various places around the world due to the Covid19 travel bans. So, I'd like to ask your swashbuckling adventurers where are some of the best, and worst places that they have been stranded? And what did they learn from the experience?

Brian Grohs - What are some of the slang words you have experienced in your travels? Better yet what are some of the slang words from your countries? In Canada we often say “Double Double”. Meaning two creams and two sugars in our coffee.

Per Arne Dahl - I want to take my bike, F 800 GS, down to Africa and I wonder if there are any places that I absolutely shouldn’t go because of crimes and such, and is it ok to wild camp most places?
