- fuel - especially for people who ride bikes that take premium - different grades of fuel - when you go to the pumps how do you handle it in different countries
- currency - do you need to get money in each country - can you count on using debit or credit?
- distance - how much ground should you plan to cover, should you plan on distance? What’s comfortable to do? Does it depends what type of roads you’re driving.
- spares - spare key, spare prescription glasses, spare ?

Discussing the camaraderie between bikers and the difference in camaraderie from the west to the east according to Graham. Some anecdotal stories of helping someone or being helped, just because both are bikers.
Rain Gear - suggested by Alberto Lara: What waterproof gear option do you prefer: rain suit, inner waterproof layers, outter layer as part of the riding jacket + pants, a plastic poncho or a large (black) garbage bag? ... oh! Or no waterproof gear at all?
