About Ted Simon:

At 90 years old, Ted has been a motorcycle travel mentor for riders and adventurers around the world for decades. In the 1970’s, as a young journalist, Ted wanted to see more of the world, and the most economical and exciting way for him to do it was by motorcycle. He shared stories and experiences of that adventure in Jupiter’s Travels, a best seller and probably the most inspiring motorcycle travel book since it was first published in 1979. Ted once again went on an epic journey when he was 70 years old, travelling the world by motorcycle again taking almost the same route as he had done before. Ted now lives in France where he has a writer’s retreat and he still rides.
