Taking Flight With Your Motorcycle

See this content in the original post

If you’ve been putting off a motorcycle trip because you don’t have enough time, or you’re not sure of how to get your bike to or from Europe, we’ve got some tips on doing that with ease. At the time of this recording, there aren’t any airlines in the United States offering a roll on and roll off service like what Air Canada does. But, if you’re within riding distance to a major city in Canada or Europe where Air Canada offers this service, you can put your bike on a plane and fly it across the country, then ride back or ship it to or from Europe. It’s an option, and a good one (see map below or click on the Air Canada links for more information on how to do this).

Fly Your Bike - Air Canada - Rob Flood

There’s a simple and quick way to ship your bike across Canada, or between Europe and Canada, with Air Canada Cargo. Flying your bike is a great option if you’re limited with vacation time or just want to do a one way trip. Or maybe you just want to take your own bike for your trip to Europe, Canada, the United States or to ride to South America.

Air Canada’s FLY YOUR BIKE program is available from spring to fall. Motorcycles can be shipped on the same Air Canada flight as the rider is on, or on another airline. We talk with Rob Flood, from Air Canada and get some of the details on how to go about shipping your bike.
